Board of Trustees
Katya Blitsman, President
Katya became a full time resident of Pine Hill in 2021. It didn’t take her long to fall in love with this beautiful and quirky place and to develop deep ties with the community here. Katya also serves as member of the Board of Trustees for the Pine Hill Community Center. She works full time in healthcare analytics, but in her free time loves to read bake, garden, and explore the beauty of the surrounding Catskills.

Staff
Gisi Vella, Director
Gisi has been the director of the Pine Hill Library since 2018. After relocating from Astoria to Phoenicia in the Catskill Mountains, she found a community that felt like home, reminiscent of the Black Forest. Gisi and her husband Allen initially bought a weekend house, but soon made Phoenicia their full-time residence. An active community member, she volunteers at the Phoenicia Farmers Market and participates in PH2. Gisi enjoys reading, spending time with her family and pets, and exploring the natural beauty of the Catskills.
